Plant a Tree on your Birthday in Klamath National Forest, California

Project Description

One of our Tree planting projects is located in northern California (with a small portion of the forest extending into southern Oregon) and covers 1,700,000 acres.   In the lower elevations, one finds park-like stands of Ponderosa Pines, while in the higher elevations, the Douglas fir, subalpine fir and mixed conifer stands are plentiful. Old growth forest is estimated to cover some 168,000 acres of the forest land.

With the Klamath, Salmon and Scott Rivers meandering from one end of the forest to the other, this beautiful “playground” is a haven for campers, hikers, wildlife watchers, hunters, fishermen, mountain bikers, white water enthusiasts and naturalists.

Please understand that this is the general area of the tree planting. Your tree will be planted among thousands of other birthday trees and there is no plaque designating the tree and visiting your particular tree is unfortunately not possible.

Know that the tree planting project is making a monumental difference for the earth and opening a new doorway to the world for future generations. If you have any questions, please view our contact information at: www.mybirthdaytree.org/contact-us
